General assistant 📍 Location: Msasa, Harare 🕒 Full-Time | On-Site 🕒 Working hours: Monday - Friday 08:30-16:30 Submission deadline: Thursday 12 March 2026 @12:00 Are you a highly organized and proactive individual looking to join a fast-growing, innovative company? Our 3D printing business is expanding, and we are seeking a detail-oriented General assistant to help manage daily operations, client interactions, and business processes with efficiency and professionalism. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask, we encourage you to apply! *Key Responsibilities:* ✔️ Business Administration – Manage business accounts and administrative tasks, including quotations, invoices, delivery notes, receipts, bill payments and tax returns ✔️ Client Communication – Handle inquiries via email, WhatsApp, and website messages, ensuring excellent customer service and directing important inquiries to the appropriate team members. ✔️ Order dispatch– Handle collection of completed projects by clients. ✔️ Appointment Scheduling – Organize and manage client meetings and bookings efficiently. ✔️ Social Media & Website Management – Prepare and schedule engaging social media content, respond to interactions across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp, and keep the company website updated ✔️ Procurement & Inventory Management – Ensure business supplies and materials are stocked and efficiently sourced. ✔️ Factory organization – Ensure business premises are kept in a neat and orderly manner ✔️ Adhoc tasks – Handle adhoc tasks related to the business. *Who you’ll work closely with* Director: - Receive weekly operational and admin tasks. - Occasionally attend client meetings with the Director to get project and client relationship appreciation. - Get quotations approved before sending them out to clients. - Assist with budget planning. Business strategist: - Receive guidance on preparing marketing material and organizing networking opportunities - Set up internal systems for future team members - Work together on preparing financial models. Technician/designer: - Keep abreast on spare parts stock and raw material inventory. - Occasionally assist with project assembly for time-sensitive projects. - Receive and package completed projects to prepare for dispatch to clients. *Who We're Looking For:* 🔹 Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented – Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal supervision 🔹 Excellent Communicator – Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and customer-friendly approach 🔹 Tech-Savvy & Adaptable – Comfortable with office software, Zoho Books (or similar accounting software), social media platforms, and website management tools 🔹 Proactive & Problem-Solving Mindset – Able to anticipate needs, take initiative, and offer solutions to improve workflow 🔹 Experience Level – Open to both experienced and fresh candidates with relevant skills in administration, business, or marketing. 🔹 Bonus: Knowledge of 3D printing or manufacturing is a plus! The probation period will mostly focus on training in administrative tasks and procurement, and assisting in setting up our new factory space. Targets for successful probation: Unsupervised handling of key administration tasks: quotation preparation, invoicing and client emailing. Handle inventory management and procurement. This role will evolve in the long term to include more senior responsibilities, such as directly handling client meetings and relations, and have less administrative work as we expand the team.
